Ekayani Music

Hey it’s Ekayani! I’m a writer and tri-lingual vocalist, singing in Sanskrit, Bengali and English. I speak French. I work in many genres: trip- hop, house, world I enjoy bridging the gaps between East and West, the mundane and celestial but all to a sick beat. You might have heard my music on The Liquid Sound Lounge (Like Fire), NPR’s All Songs Considered back in the day (Une Fille), or JAMM FM Netherlands ( Here’s the Light Autumn Collection) You can find my music on Apple Music Bandcamp Spotify on all streaming platforms. Sprinkled throughout this page is my discography so far.

What I Like To Do I am fond of mantras and I like mixing them with with Pop, House, Reggae + Dub. People tell me my music is soothing and energizing. Good for the club, your home, or to meditate by. I’ve performed just about anywhere you can think of : store windows, downtown festivals, nightclubs, TV shows, street corners and yoga studios , DIY tours across the country. Shout out to my friends in Europe though! I’m proud of my title “Funky Goddess of House Music” given to me by the sweet folks at LA Yoga Magazine. My classic album “Yoga on The Dance Floor” is inviting you to find serenity while busting a move. “Third Eye” and “Here’s the Light” are great places to start listening as a musical point of entrance.
