“Ekayani is the singularly-titled inspiration behind Yoga on the Dance Floor. Together with creative partner and electronic dance musician Tom Glide, they offer a music and dance experience that is on another level. She knows the lore behind the lyrics, and infuses everything she touches with spirit. You’ll want to download their entire album, or at least a track or two on iTunes, and tell your festival or event promoter friends about Ekayani and Yoga on the Dance Floor, and they will be thanking you for the hot tip after they book the hottest headliner their show has had in years.”— Mark Metz, Conscious Dancer April 20th, 2017

“De New York sensatie Ekayani & The Tom Glide Space gooit met album Yoga on the Dance Floor hoge ogen in het dance circuit.

“It has such a warm feel to it and I think that you really hit the start of the future of dance music with this style. Even though I do not understand the Sanskrit or Bengali, Tom’s tunes and your voice makes the whole album a relaxing and energetic trip. “Forget the unwieldy title’s spiritual trappings (unless you are into such things, in which case roll with it): This album is simply deep electronic house of a very high caliber. Studio whiz Glide provides a pillowy base-a melange of chilled techno,prog-house and global rhythms – over which Ekayani intones ancient texts and lyrics of more recent vintage in English,Bengali and Sanskrit. The result is as much a mood piece as it is club fodder, dance music sheathed in a warm glow of emotional resonance.”- Bruce Tantum, Time Out NY (Nov 12, 2012)

- “Who is the wonderful human being? Mesmerizing with complete control of the stage there are actually no words to describe how good your show is. I will never miss another one of your shows again!”— Barry Schwartz, Grown in Brooklyn October 8th, 2015
- “I am interested in this sound vibration project. Lately it has been a lot about frequencies. They are really starting to find scientific evidence for the medical and health values of frequencies (cats purring, meditating, etc.) so you are right there on the edge as usual.”— Clare D, New York, FanMay 6th, 2015
